Echoes of the Sacred (2025)

My black-and-white series began when I stumbled upon Steinway Reformed Church, a piece of Astoria’s history dating back to the late 19th century, shaped by the vision of William Steinway. Drawn to its quiet presence and aged beauty, I explore how time leaves its mark on architecture. Stripped of color, the images invite viewers to see not only the structure itself but the stories it holds. Through these photographs, consider not just the form of a building, but the lives it sheltered, the community it served, and the quiet legacy it carries.
